Confirm devices display
Improved Engineer interface to ensure that “Confirm devices” is always displayed on first power up.

Texecom Connect serial interface updated to improve reliability when setting up connections to the server.

WebWayOne reporting
Enabled correct reporting of SIA codes when using WebWayOne communicators.

Texecom has removed CD’s from Premier Elite control panels and kits, helping to reduce our environmental footprint. Manuals and software are available to download from our website.

The Texecom Connect SmartCom is an Ethernet and WiFi communicator that facilitates the Texecom Connect experience by connecting any Premier Elite control panel to a local area network.

Texecom Connect integrates with Texecom’s flagship security systems, the Premier Elite Series, to allow you to take direct control of your home and your security. Control the operation of your security system, receive notifications of system events and monitor cameras or activity from anywhere in the world.

Communicating exclusively using outbound connections, The Texecom Connect SmartCom removes the need to open any router ports, ensuring simplicity of installation and maximum security.

As such, any installation that has a reliable internet connection can benefit from Texecom Connect with the addition of the Texecom Connect SmartCom.

The Ethernet and WiFi model (CEL-0001) replaces the Ethernet-only model (CEL-0002) at no extra cost.

Early next week Texecom will release an update to the Texecom Connect App, which will allow installed Ethernet-only SmartCom models to be field-upgraded to support WiFi connectivity. The updated Texecom Connect App will contain a ‘check for firmware updates’ feature, which will facilitate SmartCom remote firmware upgrades to users that have engineer-level access. More details will follow when this new feature is available.
