Texecom Factory 4-Day Week

Texecom is adjusting manufacturing operations in the UK to a four-day week, in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

We will be condensing our production operations into Monday to Thursday, with effect from 1st April 2020.

As a result, Texecom will not be despatching goods on Fridays, or receiving deliveries from suppliers on Fridays, from Friday 3rd April until further notice.

In addition, Texecom will not be despatching goods, or receiving deliveries on Wednesday 1st April and Thursday 2nd April, due to our end-of-year stock take.

Our supply chains remain in good position, as do our product inventories. We continue to fulfil customer orders in chronological order.

For any distributor queries relating to order or delivery status during these reduced operations, please contact sales@texe.com. Our sales administration team will also be working to a reduced 4-day week, and will be contactable Monday to Thursday during normal office hours.

Our technical support services will continue to operate as normal, 5 days per week. For technical support enquiries contact techsupport@texe.com or call +44(0)1706 212524.

We will no longer be arranging technical training seminars on Fridays. For training seminars already booked on a Friday, our technical training team will honour these appointments.

We would like to thank all our staff, customers, suppliers, partners and friends for their continued support during these unprecedented times and wish everyone to stay safe and well.

Texecom COVID-19 Update

With the unprecedented situation caused by the current global coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, Texecom is taking proactive steps to mitigate and manage risk as the situation continues to evolve.

We have taken a number of precautionary measures to protect our customers and our staff.

We are following government guidelines by increasing social distancing, which means that our sales and technical teams will no longer be making customer, branch or site visits. Instead, our teams shall be available through remote communications - via telephone, email and video conferencing.

We also have numerous sales modules and training presentations that can be delivered to customers in electronic formats. Each and every member of the Texecom sales and support function will continue to assist with day-to-day business, both swiftly and effectively in order to support our customer’s needs.

In addition, we have invested in technology to ensure that all our technical support team members are able to work remotely, and that our support lines will remain open to support installers.

Texecom has also taken steps to minimise and mitigate against the potential impact on the supply chain, in order to make sure that Texecom products and services remain available.

  • We have secured a strong component supply chain pipeline and we have sufficient supplies to maintain manufacturing in the short-term.
  • We have pre-produced a reasonable contingency stock of finished goods of our most popular products.
  • We manufacture all our products in our UK facilities and are not reliant upon external manufacturing resources.
  • We have taken steps to protect our staff including remote working where possible, increasing social distancing, and introduced stringent and exacting hygiene standards.

We are working closely with our distribution partners and will continue to actively monitor and manage the situation. We will update further should the conditions change.

We thank you for your continued support and wish everyone the best during these difficult times.
