Texecom has a simple and straightforward philosophy with regards to regulatory approvals for electronic security equipment: our products are designed to meet, or exceed, all relevant international security standards.
Over the coming months Texecom will be introducing planned product changes and enhancements to a variety of it’s products, well in advance of the new PD6662: 2010 requirements being introduced in the UK from the 31st May 2012.
This will ensure that Texecom customers can continue to purchase Texecom products with confidence.
PD6662: 2010 introduces changes not only to the products themselves but also to system design and operation. These changes will affect how installers plan and commission security systems with most of the operational changes impacting security control panel settings. The most significant programming changes to Texecom Premier control panels that are being introduced are listed here.
